Creating and Connecting an MCC
Step 1. Creating a Root MCC on the Platform
The goal of this stage is to register and create a new digital object (the MCC entity) within our own platform by logging its technical identifiers.
- Navigate to the API Management page.
- Click the Add MCC button.
- Fill in the following required fields:
- Name — the name of the MCC within the platform.
- Account ID — Google Customer ID (10-digit account number). Where to find?
- OAuth Client ID — OAuth client identifier. Where to find?
- OAuth Client Secret — OAuth client secret. Where to find?
- Developer Token — Google Ads developer token. Where to find?
Step 2. Configuring API Access
The goal of this stage is to authorize the newly created object within the Google system. We establish official API credentials and set up a direct, secure connection between our platform and the live MCC account in Google Ads.
- Go to the API Access section.
- Click the Create button.
- Fill in the following required fields:
- Root MCC — the previously created root MCC.
- Email — contact email.
- Administrator (optional) — the administrator responsible for this MCC.
Step 3. Verifying Data Synchronization
The goal of this stage is to track and monitor the automatic data import process triggered by the previous two steps, ensuring that the account tree is successfully fetched and populated on the platform.
- Once the previous steps are completed, a system operation will be automatically created to synchronize the account tree and all its underlying elements.
- You can monitor the operation status on the Operations page.
- Upon successful completion of the synchronization, the entire data structure will appear on the Actual Structure page, displaying the added MCC along with all its child elements.
